Tourism
Tourism is an important element of Monmouthshire's rural economy. Monmouthshire offers visitors a warm welcome to Wales; this border county has more than it's fair share of stunning scenery from the renowned Wye Valley stretching down to Chepstow in the South to the imposing mountain ranges around Abergavenny in the North. Monmouthshire's rich natural and cultural heritage, as well as it's vast range of activities and events represent an ideal holiday destination for the most diverse audience. In addition, Monmouthshire has now been officially recognised as a "foodie" destination and boasts a host of award-winning restaurants and the highly respected Abergavenny Food Festival - in 2008 Monmouthshire became the True Taste Food Tourism Destination of Wales.
adventa is very proud of Monmouthshire's tourism offer and would like to support tourism businesses so that Monmouthshire can continue to offer a quality and enjoyable visitor experience.
