Monmouthshire Tourism Trails

cyclistThe Tourism Trails project aims to develop multi-purpose routes across the Monmouthshire countryside, suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders; it is a joint project with Monmouthshire County Council.  MCC will identify suitable routes and provide maintenance where necessary and adventa will market and promote the routes.

The Tourism Trails project is aimed at: 

  • Visitors to Monmouthshire: multi-purpose routes to encourage visitors to experience the beauty of Monmouthshire on horse, bicycle or foot.  Routes will be off-road and barrier-free, where possible.  
  • Local Communities: the Tourism Trails will also benefit local communities by identifying trails and improving facilities.  Local communities involvement will be encouraged. 
  • Local Businesses: routes will highlight local businesses, including accommodation, food providers, equestrian/cycling businesses, encouraging increased local spend.
