Supporting Community Enterprise

Supporting Community Enterprise is a Rural Development Programme co-operaSCE Logotion project between Monmouthshire (adventa) and Wrexham (Northern Marches Cymru) that seeks to identify and develop opportunities for collaborative working within the community and social enterprise sectors in the two counties.

How can we help?

  • Planning and setting up a new community enterprise
  • Advice on feasibility studies and community consultations
  • Help writing governing documents, core values, mission statements and business plans 
  • Basic financial planning and help with applications for fundraising and grants
  • Building a team of directors/ trustees; their roles and responsibilities
  • Market research, sales planning and publicity
  • Training, marketing and networking advice
  • Recruiting and retaining volunteers
  • Sources of legal advice, monitoring and evaluation SCE Team 2
